Product Description

New from HPI Racing is the RTR Nitro RS4 3 Drift 1/10th scale nitro car in ready-to-run form, so you can be drifting with nitro horsepower in just minutes! Choose the Nissan Silvia S15 body or the muscular Toyota Soarer to suit your style, they’re both pre-painted, pre-trimmed, pre-applied decals, and both come with chrome Volk TE-37 wheels and drift tires for authentic JDM drift looks.

And these Nitro RS4 3 Drift machines don’t just look great, the chassis layout has been completely revised by the HPI Japan design team for optimal drifting. The engine and center gearbox have been moved forward to help the car rotate smoothly, and special shock springs are tuned for drifting. Type A drift radial tires are included, they use a hard compound rubber for controllable high speed nitro drifting.

Power comes from the potent G3.0 nitro engine (.18 Cu. In.), with excess power for tire smoking drift action. A large diameter tube header and a new rear exhaust muffler system routes the engine smoke out the back of the car for scale realism and clean operation. A single speed transmission delivers the consistent throttle response needed for drifting. And, the G3.0 is equipped with a pullstarter for quick and easy starting.

The RTR Nitro RS4 3 Drift has many of the features found on our popular RTR Nitro RS4 3 Evo+, making it a great car for parking lot drifters. The tough 4WD shaft drive system keeps the drivetrain running smoothly even in parking lots that aren't completely free of rocks. The enclosed receiver/battery box keeps the electronics protected from the elements and makes clean-up a snap. A stiff purple anodized aluminum 2.5mm chassis prevents flex for consistent handling and extra durability.

how can i get a nissan skyline to the states? is there a site to go to see japanese used car listings or osmething and hten get it shipped over here? im looking for a mid 90s GTR for under 20k or i will have to stick with a EVO or RX-7 from here...(sigh) please!!!!!!!!!!! There seems to be a good few on ebay atm ,not always the GTR but also the GTS versions also,which are just as good a can reach the same level BHP. Shipping wise you can get them into the US,But again it the hassle which mainly depends where you live as some states i have heard are more tighter on emissions and the safety issue.
It seems to be if you have the money then it can be done and also the time.
I will send you some links for the auctions but at the end of the day you can even get a Skyline from the UK or Australia and not just Japan.Just look at ebay UK and we have loads here,and there maybe a bargain for you.
I have even read about people moving to the UK or Japan just to own a Skyline,i even read one bloke saved to go only holiday just to buy a Skyline and drive it the few weeks he was there,just to have the experience of driving one.
There great cars and have been since the fifties,and its taken the new generation of folks to catch onto which Japanese folks have been enjoying for years and years.
Many will say wait for the new GTR well why should you,there going to be more expensive and with the older Skylines getting older now the time to enjoy them whilst you still can.
All i can say is it may cost alot of money but these cars do to all of us,but everytime i sit in mine i get a huge smile,and when i park it i have to keep looking back at it until i get a punch from my wife that is.So the car is worth every penny
and a pleasure to drive.and has head turning looks on each model.
The R32 and R33 are great cars and parts are easy to find i have never not be able to find a part.

Where can I buy a Nissan Silvia S15 in the United States?

Is there a site to get a nissan silvia s15 legally in the united states?

Bottom line is you can't. You can import one from Japan but it would cost you $10,000 to get it here. Add to that the cost of the car itself and the exchange rate.

But even if you got it here, you couldn't drive it except on the track and you'd have to get it there on a trailer.

I want to get a Nissan Skyline in the somewhat near future. I live in New York State and was hoping for one made after 1998 and a GT-R model. I heard about some company in California that was importing but sued, and that importing is illegal. I also can't afford anything too expensive, buy any and all information would be helpful. No links please

jccjr1982 is dead wrong. god, i cringe when people dont know what they are talking about. infiniti G35s are NOT THE SAME CAR. the easiest difference? the name. duh. if it has an entirely different name, its different...end of story. the G35 has a nice 3.5L VQ engine with double cams and fuel injection, good for about 280 ish HP...slightly similiar to the skyline. however, the aerodynamics, suspension, chassis, transmission, and body style are all extremely different.

the skyline is a COUPE. its a very long coupe, but it is a coupe. only this year have infiniti g35 coupes come out, and they are quite expensive. the skyline is more of a racing car, it comes with brembo brakes (stock) and a stiffer suspension. it also comes with 300+ hp (R34), despite the gentlemans agreement. (fact: people have bought nissan skylines and dynoed them after driving them home, doing no tuning, and they produced well over 280 HP. the most was about 330, give or take 5, by the R34 VSPECII. Ttoyota did the same thing with later versions of the Supra, but not exactly as much as Nissan). the skyline GTR has a twin turbo engine system and is all wheel drive. ATTESA-ETS and SUPER-HICAS are on the skyline, whilst only the ATTESA-ETS is on the infiniti G35x (which is 4WD).

ok, ill stop ranting. to answer your question: you can LEGALLY import any R33 skylines that were made in between the years of 1996 and 1998. if you wish, you can look it up on the US importation list, i dont have the link on hand. GTS, GTS-T (or whatever they had) and GTRs are all legal from that time frame. however, they still have to pass emissions, which requires a great deal of work. if you buy the cheapest skyline, the 96 GTS (or GTS-T i think), itll cost you about 10k at the least, excluding shipping to some east coast port. then emissions and legalization...but itll be under 20k, maybe under 15k if your very picky.

Motorex was the company in california. in a nutshell, they arent up and running anymore, so dont even worry about them, they cant help you in any way..the owner is in jail. so yeah.

oh, by the way...any and all upgrades to the nissan skyline GTR, no matter how mundane, will result in a relatively large boost in horsepower. exhaust systems, *any* turbo upgrade (stock turbos are ceramic), throttle body, computer chips...for some reason, they provide like 150% horsepower to the skyline compared to any other regular car. and the RB26 engine is remarkably resilient.

good luck getting it into NY...i live in CNY, ill get one eventually haha i hear theres only two or three legalized in NYS, all in NYC i believe.

edit: its not a ceramic engine. its a cast iron block engine with an aluminum head. and to add to that, you dont need to have it changed to left hand drive, you can keep it in right hand drive, it is perfectly legal. why? post office trucks can drive on the road, and they are RHD. (plus theres no law that says they cant =P)
